Which Version Does My License Work With?
If your license key is not accepted after a reinstall or on a new computer, this page explains which version of the software your license works with and how to get it.
License Not Accepted After a Reinstall
After a reinstall or on a new computer, the app may say the license key is not accepted, run as a demo, or show “expired”. This usually means the installed version is newer than your license — for example, if you installed the latest version by accident.
A license usually includes one year of updates from the date of purchase or renewal. It works with the versions released before that date and within the following year, unless the license has different expiration or end-of-support dates. The key itself is fine; you just need the matching version of the software.
You don’t need to renew. Download the matching version from the Old Versions page. Remove the newer version first, then install the matching one — your key will work again.
Subscriptions Expire
Subscription licenses have a strict expiration date. When the subscription period ends, the license stops working — even with an older version of the software. To keep using the software, renew the subscription.
Which Version Can I Use?
Download the version that matches your license from the Old Versions page. Paste your license key there and the page will show you the download links for the version your license works with.
I Want the Latest Version
If you are still within the year of updates included with your license, you can download the latest version from the Downloads page without renewing.
If your year of updates has already passed, a renewal is needed. Renew your license at the Renewal page — enter your current license key there to see the renewal options. After renewing, you will get a new key that works with the latest version.
