Imposition WizardImposition Wizard System Requirements
Imposition Wizard runs on Windows and macOS. Below are the requirements for the operating system, hardware, and internet access.
Operating System
- Windows: Windows 10 or higher, 64-bit
- macOS (Apple Silicon): macOS 11 or higher
- macOS (Intel): macOS 10.15 or higher
Hardware
- CPU: the CPU is used for imposing documents, so a modern processor is recommended.
- RAM: 16 GB minimum, 32 GB or more recommended for complex projects.
- GPU: the GPU is only used for the user interface, so any graphics card is fine.
- Disk space: about 500 MB of free disk space, plus additional space for your documents.
Adobe Acrobat Integration
Imposition Wizard integrates with Adobe Acrobat, adding imposition commands directly to the Acrobat menu and using Acrobat’s PDF engine to process files.
Acrobat integration requires 64-bit Acrobat Pro or Acrobat DC.
Acrobat is not mandatory: Imposition Wizard also runs as a standalone application with its own built-in PDF engine. If Acrobat is not installed or is an older version, Imposition Wizard remains fully functional in standalone mode.
Internet Access
An internet connection is required to activate the license and check for updates. If a firewall, proxy, or antivirus blocks the connection, see Firewall and Network Problems.
