Ai ToolboxAi Toolbox System Requirements
Ai Toolbox is a plugin for Adobe Illustrator that runs on Windows and macOS. Below are the requirements for the operating system, software, hardware, and internet access.
Operating System
- Windows: Windows 10 or higher, 64-bit
- macOS (Apple Silicon): macOS 11 or higher
- macOS (Intel): macOS 10.15 or higher
Required Software
Ai Toolbox is a plugin for Adobe Illustrator, so a compatible version of Illustrator is required:
- Windows: Adobe Illustrator 2018 or newer
- macOS (Apple Silicon): Adobe Illustrator 2021 or newer
- macOS (Intel): Adobe Illustrator 2018 or newer
Hardware
- CPU: a standard modern processor is recommended.
- RAM: 16 GB or more recommended.
- GPU: the GPU is only used for the user interface, so any graphics card is fine.
- Disk space: about 500 MB of free disk space.
As a rule of thumb: if your computer runs Adobe Illustrator, Ai Toolbox will run smoothly as well.
Internet Access
An internet connection is required to activate the license and check for updates. If a firewall, proxy, or antivirus blocks the connection, see Firewall and Network Problems.
